Welcome to our Email-Sorting Extension EmailSort. These Terms of Service govern your use of the Extension. By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the Extension.

1. Description of Service

The Extension is a free software tool designed to help you organize, filter, and sort your emails. The Extension securely transmits email text to our private backend proxy server, which interacts with an Artificial Intelligence API to determine sorting categories. We do not charge any fees for using the Extension. We reserve the right to modify, update, limit, or discontinue any part of the Extension or server access at any time without notice.

2. Privacy and Data Access

Your privacy is critical to us.

• Data Transmission: To sort your emails, the Extension transmits necessary email text or metadata securely over HTTPS to our backend server for AI processing.
• No Monetization: We do not sell, rent, or monetize your email data or processing history.

3. License and Intellectual Property

We grant you a personal, worldwide, royalty-free, non-assignable, and non-exclusive license to use the Extension for personal or internal business use.

• All rights, titles, and interests in the Extension and the backend proxy infrastructure (including code, design, and logos) remain our exclusive property.
• You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the Extension or attempt to bypass our server configurations.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Extension to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international laws.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to our backend proxy servers, endpoints, or related networks.
• Flood our server infrastructure with automated, malicious, or excessive requests beyond normal email-sorting usage.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is")

The Extension and its connected backend server are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that our servers will always be online, error-free, uninterrupted, or that the AI will never missort an email. You use this tool at your own risk.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. This includes, without limitation, loss of data, missorted/deleted emails, or server downtime. Because the Extension is provided entirely free of charge, our total liability to you for any claims shall not exceed $0.00.

7. Termination

You can terminate this agreement at any time by uninstalling the Extension. We reserve the right to block specific users, restrict access, or completely shut down the backend server at any time, with or without cause, and without prior notice.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California. Any disputes arising from these terms will be handled exclusively in the courts located in Los Angeles.
